My granddaughter specially requested a lighted “K” for her room for her birthday, made by her Pop-Pop.
Designed on Tinkercad; Printed with Digital Blue filament, with supports. Back plate mounts with two 12 mm M3 Hex Cap Screws. Interior is lit with one 20-light LED string light that uses 2 button batteries. There is enough interior room for more strings of lights, but I thought one was enough. Back plate bracket was made to accommodate only one battery, but could be remixed easily to hold two battery packs.
For added “sparkle” one could drill small holes in face inside the letter bracket - it produces a sparkle when you walk by it.
Granddaughter will love it!
