This remix modifies the clock number style and allows you to perform a printed color change to highlight the numbers. To accomplish this requires some new components and a direction reversal of some of the assembly processes. Only new or modified parts are included in this remix. All of the other parts are unchanged from Typical Tinkerer's original design.
Each hour dial now consists of 3 parts: the numerical dial, a flanged hub and a spacer. Assemble the dials as shown in the provided exploded view image. The flanged hub is a tight fit into the numerical dial. You can add a small drop of superglue under the flange if the fit seems too loose. Tighten the hub screws just enough to remove any rocking of the hour dial while still allowing free rotation within the minutes arm.
The minutes dial is now attached to its mount using screws inserted from the front.
My particular clock movement shaft extended a little too far above the movement housing. I added a 1mm thick spacer between the movement and its mounting surface inside the movement housing. The spacer is included but is optional.
