The latch on my charging case broke quite soon after I purchased them, and this is a replacement latch that can be replaced multiple times should it break again.
- Firstly, remove the silicon inner cover from the lid
- Using nippers, craft knife, Dremel etc remove all traces of the old retainer.
- Apply double sided tape to the lid and stick the retainer roughly in position
- Close the lid partially to make sure it aligns & adjust if not
- Apply another layer of double sided tape over the top of the new retainer
- Replace the silicon rubber cover and press down firmly.
This can be repeated should the clip break again.
