ELEGOO Mini Air Purifier carbon filter bed box

If like me you are a big fan of the ELEGOO mini air purifier units you will know how good they are at reducing/eliminating the unpleasant odour of resin when printing.  These small resin printed perforated boxes are perfectly sized to fit on top of the filter unit where the activated carbon block usually sits.  As replacement blocks can be expensive and hard to find I designed these so you can simply add a couple of teaspoons of activated carbon pellets instead.  These are the same carbon pellets used for filtering aquarium water, can be purchased in bulk for little cost and seem to work just as effectively once the filter is running.  One tip is that to maximise the surface area of the activated carbon try and buy the smallest pellets available, the ones shown are just 3 mm.
