A simple bracket to be able to easily read height to bed from a Sprite Extruder on an Ender 3 S1 Pro or Plus. Stop using the "paper trick!"

With an Allen wrench, this allows simple removal, installation, and some height adjustment for the dial indicator. This was modeled for a typical 30mm or 1" indicator.

Edit: Per a request, I have added a version for a 0.375" shank dial indicatior. My original version is for a 0.315" Shank.  Note, as I do not have the larger shank dial indicator on hand, this bracket is untested.  Feel free to reach out if it needs adjusting.  Enjoy!

Printer:

Ender-3 S1 Plus

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Infill:

100

polymaker polylite pla pro

Notes:

Either turn infill up to 100%(99 depending on pattern) or turn walls up to the point there is no infill.

Can be printed flat side down without support if you have your printer tuned well.

This is PLA Pro, But something like PETG, ABS, ASA or a reinforced nylon would all be better choices if doing anything even mildly high temperature with the printer.

Post-Printing

Materials and Assembly

You will need 4 M3 nuts (locking preferred) and 4 M3 x 16mm bolts

Take the bolts out of the BL touch and reinstall longer bolts.

Install bracket onto the "studs" of the longer bolts and secure with two M3 nuts

Install the two remaining bolts and nuts onto the retainer. You may have to hold the nut and "overtighten" the first time to set the nuts into their slots. Tight is good. Then loosen to open up the barrel for the dial gauge.
