This project is a Lasy Susan / Turntable mecanism sturdy enough for clay sculpting. It can withstand heavy load (varies according to infill density).
It comes in 3 parts (bottom, guide (for steel bearing balls) and top . It use 16 x 12,7 mm steel bearing balls (½" inch). I used wooden boards for the top board and the bottom support (as shown in pictures). The door lock you can see in the picture is used to stop the rotation (the wooden top board is drilled every 1/8 of a turn).
Proposed print settings :
- Filament : PLA
- Layer Height : 0.2 mm
- Infill Pattern : Triangle (but others work too)
- Infill Density : 33 %
- Support : no
