Customizable Good Boy Dog Tag

Customizable dog tag for a good boy. There is no STL file included because you are supposed to customize it for your specific friend. If you never used CAD before, it sounds intimidating, but the design has been made simple.

To customize:

1: Open the file in Autodesk Fusion 360

2: Double-click the indicated icon in the tutorial picture

3: Double-click the text to edit

4: Click finish sketch on the top middle of the screen to save the edit

5: Top left, file, 3d print, click the tag, uncheck send to 3d printing utility, and click okay. This will save an STL to your computer.

Printing guide:

1: Print flat with phone number side facing down

2: No supports

3: Any resolution you want, this object is flat and doesn't need high resolution as it is just stacking layers

Multicolor trick for basic printers:

1: Follow all steps above, then slice the file

2: Find the layer you want, the color change

3: In your slicer, add a pause on that layer

4: Manually swap filaments, make sure to purge some filament to make sure the color is correct

5: You can pause as many times as you want to do as many color changes you want

6: This model should color change 4 times, 

start with the base color

1: pause on the phone number layer, use an accent color

2: pause layer next layer, switch back to the base color 

3: pause on the layer right before the name appears, use an accent color

4: pause layer next layer, back to the base color 

Note: Using this method of color change will result in a band of the accent color on the layer with the color, using a smaller layer height will make it less noticeable.
