I wanted to experiment with using my iPhoneXR to shoot demonstration videos, hands-free.
A quick search of Printables found me this chest-mounted harness by NagyBig: https://www.printables.com/model/110782-chest-mount-phone-holder
I also found this helpful model of an iPhoneXR, by KasZap: https://www.printables.com/model/66953-iphone-xr-3d-model-step-file
Using the phone model for scale, I cut away the parts of NagyBig's model that I did not need and rescaled his design to fit my phone.
I also did not need to take this setup outdoors or on long walks/hikes, so I just use a simple strap to hold it in place and eliminated the elastic band clips, to simplify printing.
This is the resulting model.
It prints without supports.
CAUTION: I recommend you remove the phone from the holder before picking up or removing the harness. The weight of the XR may otherwise cause the phone to fall out of the holder if you lose your grip on it…
