Saw similar solution for key chains, thought this may be a nice idea for my grand-kids too.

Relatively easy to build and relatively easy to print. Best print results with a MK3S+ and a MMU2s.
Know How: I added some commonly used stl-files for any sign of this kind like:
- DAU-RB-White = 4.8mm thick, base plate in general white.
- DAU-RB-Pearwhite = 0.2mm thick, final top plate in Pearlwhite, which is silk and much more glossy. Any bright white will work also.
- DAU-RB-BlueEU = 0.6mm thick, blue background for the stars section.
- DAU-RB-Pearlwhite-D = 0.6mm thick, D-sign in Pearlwhite.
- DAU-RB-YellowStars = 0.6mm thick, Silk gold made a nice aspect.
- DAU-RB-BlkFrame = 0.4mm thick, outer frame.
- DAU-RB-BlkText = 0.4mm thich, text which makes your sign out!
For you the crucial thing is to create and place the text. I did it like follows:
I use CorelDraw! and create the eg. DAU (community abbreviation) and the RB276 (initials and day and month of birth). e.g. RB276 for 27 -June. The text font for those is “FE-font” for German licence plates. After you created the letters, arrange them or use them separately for arrangement in slicer or even better a graphics app. Convert the TEXT-format to grafic-TEXT format, then you have only vector based curves, which you can export to svg-format.
The svg format can be imported in another modelling app and arranged within the files. Eventually resize the DAU-RB-Blk-Text to 0.4mm and place it exactly on top of the DAU-RB-Pearlwhite (top layer so far). Export the DAU-RB-Blk-Text as stl and put everything together in your slicer. My Prusa Slicer fits everything perfect and exactly on the buildplate, I only need to assign the colors, slice and print. I used White in slot 1, black in 2, blue in 3, gold in 4 and pearlwhite in 5.
Good luck and enjoy.
