This is a remix of Adam-M’s amazing design on https://www.printables.com/model/211679-catapult-card/user-gcodes All credit goes to Adam.
The purpose of my remix was a way for me to learn more about Fusion 360. I wanted to [re]make a challenging design in Fusion 360 and thought Adam’s catapult was just the ticket.
As it turned out I made some changes to the overall design but basically, this is Adam’s design and my own attempt at recreating it in Fusion 360 as a learning exercise.
My Catapult is about 20% larger and some of the shapes are ‘curvier’. Other changes were to use “PINS” at key connection points. I printed soooo many versions before I got it right😩. At .4 layer width, it was taking forever so all of my prints were done at .6 with a 20% infill. This brought prototyping prints down from 8 hours to 4. In the end, I added that to my ‘learning’ for future projects LOL.
I've included all of the individual parts (if you need spares), created an instruction pamphlet, and the Fusion 360 file.
At the last minute, I added a version that has a trigger!
