I had the problem that I kept losing track of my shelves with the spray cans.
So I was looking for a way to store the spray cans more clearly.
The whole thing, if possible, as a kit system, so it can be expanded at will.
I printed all the parts from various leftover filaments. Mostly PETG and PLA. Of course, tolerance fluctuations were felt as a result. The layer adhesion was also worse with some filaments than with others. This is a bit annoying here because the tabs break quickly. But if something didn't stick enough, I helped with hot glue. Works great so far.
0.2mm layer height and 15% infill were enough for me. However, as I said, you should ensure good layer adhesion. (You probably know your printer and your filament best to find the right setting)
However, it all only becomes really stable if you have more than one tower and then clamp them together with the Connector2 (white part in the CAD illustration). Here I recommend two connectors at the front and maybe one at the back.
Spray cans with a diameter of 32mm should fit in without any problems. (The hole is 35mm).
For smaller diameters, you should use 2 of the stoppers (orange / brown) so that they do not slip.
Depending on the length of the spray can, use the short (brown) or long (orange) stoppers.
To make assembly easier, here are the components sorted by color from the 3D model…
SprayD_bottom = hell gelbes Teil / light yellow part
SprayD_Stand1 = rotes Teil / red part
SprayD_Stand2 = blaues Teil / blue part
SprayD_Stand3 = grünes Teil / green part
SprayD_holder = graues Teil / grey part
SprayD_middle = dunkel gelbes Teil / dark yellow part
SprayD_connector1 = lila Teil / purple part
SprayD_connector2 = weißes Teil / white part
SprayD_Stop_short = braunes Teil / brown part
SprayD_Stop = oranges Teil / orange part
