Files are organized by the colors as they appear in the photos. Obviously you can mix and change colors as you please or based on what you have available.
The colored pieces are glued (I used hot glue, super glue would probably work as well) onto the backside of the ‘Frame’. The ‘Diffuser’ sits on the ledge of the ‘Housing’, then the frame with the attached color pieces is glued into the ‘Housing’. The diffuser will help to even out the light a bit but also hide any pinhole gaps or blemishes that may appear on the colored pieces.
The ‘Housing’ has posts inside of it that just act as attachment points for the LED strip. The cord feeds out the bottom.
The following link is the LED strip I used, but there are hundreds of others that would likely work just as well.
