This is a laptop holder designed for a Macbook Air M2. The opening has enough space for felt tape to line the inside faces to prevent any scratching. The bottom of the opening as two holes to fit #6 flat head screws, allowing this to be affixed to a desk or larger board for a collection of holders if desired.
This design takes inspiration from others, but was designed completely from scratch in FreeCAD by me. I printed with PETG, 0.2mm layers, 3 perimeters and 10% gyroid infill, and it is pretty much rock solid.
While designed for the Macbook Air M2, it also does an okay job holding an older Macbook Pro 16" as well.
Update 2023-05-16 - Added a new version that has open sides and uses less filament to print. I used all of the same settings + organic supports for the middle of the arch.
