A simple venting lid support for the P1P (bambulab) ARC enclosure. Simply lift the lid on the ARC enclosure and flip the tab out! Set the lid back down on the tabs and you have instant ventilation for working with PETG and PLA. The lid clips can also function as locks… by flipping them out when the lid is in the closed position, you can prevent the lid from falling off when moving the printer.
Styled to retain the general look of the original ARC enclosure top support clips.
Hardware Required:
Two M3x15 screw for hinge pins.
Optional Hardware:
Four M6x2 magnets can be embedded in the finished print, to either retain the locking arm or force it out (depending on your prefered setup). Works perfectly fine without magnets, but many of us have these for use in the ARC enclosure door hinges.
Attached files and further instructions:
3MF setup for Bambu Studio using PETG and 0.2mm layer height. This file has the provided .stl files mirrored for a right an left application.
.STL file attached should be printed as is AND another instance of it printed mirrored, in this way you'll have a right and left clip.
Note: The clips feature a slight angle that matches the inclination of the vented top and should be installed as illustrated in the attached photos. You'll want to use the original ARC enclosure top parts, including the lid clip for the rest of the upper perimeter of the enclosure.
