StageTop Chess Playtile
Chess Playtile (full) for the StageTop 3D printed gaming table. The playtile is designed to be printed with a single-nozzle printer. First the black grid is printed and kept on the build plate, followed by the white grid directly on top.
The black grid has a thickness of 0.4 mm. It's best to use a layer height of ≤ 0.2 mm (≥ 2 layers).
Both models need to be rotated by 180°.
How to slice and print
- Slice the black grid (chess-playtile-black.stl) with usual settings
- Print the black grid with a (dark) material
- Don't remove the black grid (keep the build plate temperature on)
- Slice the white grid (chess-playtile-white) with usual settings, but:
- Use z-hop ≥ 0.5 mm
- Don't use any build plate adhesion settings (skirt, brim, …)
- Print the white grid on top of the black grid
