small Ditto(Pokemon) silicone batch mold

I have made a 3d printed mold previously, that can produce 9 silicone Ditto at once. As many of my friends liked it, they also want some Ditto made out of hard materials like epoxy resin. But 3d printed mold is hard and stiff, which is not suitable for making hard materials, so I designed a 3d printed mold that allows making a soft silicone mold, so hard materials can also be used.

Instruction:

1. 3d print the parts in table above.
2. (optional) Add clear coating on base mold for better surface finish. I used acrylic type of clear coating.
3. Assemble all parts like in the image, and use tape to close up the seam between base mold and outer wall to prevent leakage. Then use tape to fix cores in position and prevent them from moving and floating during molding.
4. Pour silicone into the mold. I used about 480g of HTV-2000 . Pour until the top surface of silicone is about 2~3mm below outer wall top edge. Caution: Please degas silicone before pouring.
5. Demold after silicone has cured. Then you get a silicone mold like in the image.
6. Pour any materials you like and make your own Ditto! If your silicone is food-safe (just like HTV-2000 or HTV-4000), you may also make ice Ditto or chocolate Ditto. I just poured epoxy resin anyway.
