Two different lengths to accomodate different size spools. The smaller size spool holder was made with these spools in mind.
Gap between the holes on the smaller spool holder is approx. 35mm.
Gap between the holes on the longer spool holder is approx. 54mm.
Holes are ~10mm, but I bought the wrong dowel rod so I can't verify. 9mm is what I used (and glued in place) and it's a bit loose so 10mm should do for friction fit.
