I have two small children and they love popsicles but they don't always eat them fast enough before they start to melt. I found a model on Thingiverse that had a tray where the popsicle could melt and then the kids could drink the melted popsicle through a straw. It was great because the larger handle made it easier for my 2yo to hold and the large base made it so that the kids could set the popsicles down if they wanted.
After using them for a while, I thought they could be improved. First, I widened the base to make them more stable when they get set down. Then I raised an island where the popsicle stick goes into the holder. This keeps the drippings away from the center hole. Then, I opened up the bottom of the holder so that there isn't any place for melted popsicle drippings to hide when cleaning. I added a small bridge so that the stick can't fall too far down.
My boys love these and I've made several for other kids, too. I've made some out of PLA, but they warped in the dishwasher. They still work, but look a little wonky. I recommend PETG. Those have been through the dishwasher and still look brand new.
