This is a LEDRing Lamp for a ring of 24 Neopixels.
It consists of a base that takes an ESP32 Devkit V1 MCU and the Neopixel ring and diffusors that are sit on top of the base.
Sources for the 3d parts can be found at:
LEDRing: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/6PTZv7HlGrm
LEDRing Diffusors: https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2QjFYYTgBHI
The program running on the ESP32 is WLED (https://kno.wled.ge/), controlled via the "WLED native" Android app by CGagnier (from Google Play and also available on the iOS Appstore) or any web browser.
It can also be driven by an audio input via LEDfx (https://www.ledfx.app/), which I run on my notebook.
Feel free to experiment with additional diffusors and/or masks and/or patterns ;-)
List of materials:
- ESP32 Devkit V1, e.g.: https://www.mikroshop.ch/?gruppe=10&artikel=1490
- Neopixel Ring 24 LED, e.g.: https://www.adafruit.com/product/1586
- 2 * M3 Screws
- USB Power Supply / USB Cable
Power consumption is on the order of 200mA (most patterns) to 1A (white, max brightness), so you may want to program the MCU from your PC before you connect the LED strip in order to not overload your USB port.
