I couldn't find a resilient, rugged cover for a cable ingress point after a recent network cable run around the outside of my house, so I decided to make one. PLA should be more than resilient enough for my usage, but if you live somewhere where the conditions outside are a little more intense I would probably consider printing in PETG.
Silicone sealant can be used to attach to brickwork without leaving any gaps for rain to enter.
