I wanted some nice Gridfinity holders for my combination square(s), so I made this model :) There are two variants:
- "OneSquare" holds one 6 inch or 150mm combination square + pencil, eraser, lead, or sharpener.
- “TwoSquares” holds two 6 inch or 150mm combination squares.
Each holder has a chamfer where your hand goes to grab the square. It makes square retrieval a bit easier and pleasant.
I've tested everything with two combo squares (a PEC from Taylor Tools and a Swanson square from Lowes) and added generous padding around the squares, but if your square doesn't fit, please let me know so I can update the model!
Printing:
Each holder is 3 Gridfinity units in depth and 4 Gridfinity units in width, so you don't need a big printer to print these. I printed both on my Prusa Mini with 0.4mm and 0.6mm nozzles with great results.

I'll currently designing and testing Gridfinity holders for large combination squares (12 inches or 300mm). Stay tuned!
- Variant one: Single large combo square with marking tools (pencil, eraser, lead, marking knife, etc)
- Variant two: Single large combo square set (protractor head and center-finder head)
