I wanted something simple to store my Dermlite and keep it out of the way. In my room I have a riser on my desk and typically keep things under this (Stethoscope, tendon hammer, ophthalmoscope, glucometer etc...).
Rather than buying the hideous charging station i thought that this would be a nice way to store it.
In the future I may incorporate a slot to feed in the USB charging cable so that the dermlite charges whenever I put it in this.
*I designed it to be very simple and support the handle only, I then mounted it far enough into the riser so that the viewing window of the Dermlite sits flush with the edge of the riser keeping it out of the way. It could just as easily be mounted vertically.
