Inspired by the membrane clarinets created by Nicolas Bras. Designed so everything is inline like a traditional clarinet. Requires the use of o-rings to seal the membrane compartment. O-ring dimensions:
- Inner Diameter ¾"
- Outer Diameter 7/8"
It has 3 pieces:
- Mouthpiece
- Membrane compartment
- PEX adapter ( designed so new adapters can be created for things other than PEX. If I ever get the pads replaced on my traditional clarinet, I want to print an adapter so I can try this on that. )
I usually use some PTFE tape on the adapter to help it seal better.
