I have a row of the STM817 18v tool holders for my Ryobi Link rails - but I found that I have a handful of tools that don't quite fit - often because they are too big on the backside - they touch the back of the mount and don't have room to slide down onto the mount.
The gray “battery stub” portion of the STM817 is held on with a single machine screw, so I designed this replacement for that part with a 15 degree downward angle. This angle is enough for more of my tools to now fit (such as my trim router and soldering iron), while still being flat enough to not risk the tool falling off.
A little bit tricky to print due to the tiny little stubs on the bottom that lock into the base and the steep overhang of the 15 degree angle. I found that the best results came from printing upright and just using standard supports, touching buildplate only.
TODO: Redesign more cleanly and upload STEP file so that people can adjust the exact angle to their preference. Offer solid/enclosed variant for easier printing without overhang.
