This is an accessible Connect Four set with tactile adaptation for easier play by touch as well as by sight. The game includes a board, two different sets of playing pieces and a lid to close it at the top.
How it works
Connect Four is a simple two-player game. Players take turns dropping their pieces into the top of the board, one column at a time. The pieces fall to the lowest available position in that column. The winner is the first player to make a line of four pieces horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
This version uses tactile differences to make the two sets easy to tell apart. One player uses circular pieces and the other uses square pieces, so they can be recognised by touch without relying only on colour.
Recommended print settings
Print the board with good part cooling and with settings suitable for long bridges;
The lid should be printed from PP, flex or another flexible material;
The set consists of 4 files: squares, circles, board and optional lid;
Other than possible support for difficult bridges on less capable printers, the models do not require supports, a raft or a brim.
