It's a bit funny, but when we made a coin from 1,000 years ago for the Museum we noticed that we didn't know what modern coins looked like either. That's how we came up with this illustration of a contemporary Polish 2 złote coin.
This model is for illustration purposes only: it is greatly enlarged and the depths have been chosen to make it easy for blind people to recognize the individual elements; they differ from the depths on the original coin.
Print settings
The fastest and preferred method is to print on the support and rafts on edge of the coin.
To avoid layer lines, you can also split the model in two or print with solvable supports.
A 0.4mm nozzle and PLA give good results.
