A display stand that can also hold a USB cable to charge the RG353V.
I designed this stand to be used with the USB cable that comes with the handheld.
To put the cable in the stand:
- First, insert the USB cable through the hole in the back of the stand so that the metal part of the USB is sticking out.
- Then, push the cable into the recess as far as it will go. You might have to adjust the cable from the hole in the back that you inserted it in to make sure it is fully pushed to the side.
- Finally, slide the Cable Stopper piece through the top of the stand and press down so that it is flush with the stand, it will fit snug in place. This piece will keep the cable in place for when you dock/undock the handheld from the stand.
- To remove the cable, push the Cable Stopper up and out from the back of the stand by either pushing it out or inserting something into the visible slot to pry it out. Then you can slide the cable out of the recess and pull it out through the back of the stand.
You should now be able to slide the handheld into the stand, have it charge, and remove it from the stand without the cable slipping out.
The “RG353V” text was printed separately and pushed into the text holes on the stand. I had to tap the letters in with a mallet, so it will be a very tight fit and they wont come out again.
I also included a blank stand with no text on it if you just wanted a blank one or if you want to add your own text.
There are 4 holes in the bottom of the stand that will fit self-adhesive 12x4 mm rubber bumpers for extra grip. Stand will work just fine with out them.
Printed on an Ender-3 with no supports and the models can be printed in the orientation that they come as.
