If you use PVC insulated hook-up wire, try silicone! The insulation doesn't run back when you solder to it and then remains flexible thereafter.
This model is designed to hold my favorite type of silicone wire. Spring tabs retain the spools in their positions until replacement time. Other tabs pinch the wire at the output spout. Can remain mobile or wall mounted.
Print one end cap and as any spool holders as you need. No supports needed. Designed with a fiction fit on the pins, but reinforcing them with a loop of bailing wire is really necessary.
