This is an adapter for permanent or temporary mounting of the Topeak Redlite Mega tail light to Topeak racks. It's anchored by two M5 screws, fits very well (at least on my printer) and even has some theft protection with the optional screw-on lid. The lid is not needed if you don't plan to do backflips on the bike, the rail is tight enough.
The rack was sold as “Redlite compatible”, but to my surprise, it's not compatible with the big Redlite, only with the flimsy ones powered by a coin cell. I went through a couple iterations and this is my best version of the adapter.
The mounting holes are positioned so the light does not interfere with the QuickTrack rail, so a bag can be attached without problems. It's also high enough to not interfere with a fender.
The two M5 screws I used have 10mm head diameter, 4mm head height and are 25mm long, 20mm should suffice. You also need (optional) two washers and two nuts, ideally nylock.
The cap is designed for standard M3 screws with 5mm head, anything between 10 and 15mm long will work.
