I designed this Grip Master Universal Clamp in SOLIDWORKS for the Printables Clamp-On Items contest (16/06/2023).
The "Grip Master Clamp": a 3D printable, rugged clamp designed for versatility. Its design allows easy assembly while providing a secure and reliable grip for various applications.
The Clamp consists of two parts:
- Clamp Body
- Clamp Screw
Both the clamp body and the screw parts are thoughtfully oriented for printing without the need for supports.
My goal with this project is to introduce modular parts to enhance its functionality further. Both the clamp body and the screw parts are currently being refined, with the aim of enabling seamless customization and adaptability.
I have incorporated test prints for the male and female threads to meticulously fine-tune the final print. These tests aim to ensure a precise and seamless thread fit.

Introducing the upgraded version of our Grip Master Universal Clamp model, now featuring a detachable tray with a secure dovetail connection. This addition enhances the versatility of the clamp. Customize the tray's size and shape to suit your needs.
