Simple fruit picker for citrus, great for reaching fruit high in the tree when all the low hanging fruit is gone. Attaches to a standard pool cleaning pole and uses a typical American 2 liter soda bottle.

Simple fruit picker for citrus, great for reaching fruit high in the tree when all the low hanging fruit is gone. Attaches to a standard pool cleaning pole and uses a typical American 2 liter soda bottle.

Notes:
Works well in PLA or ABS.
Use a standard 2L bottle, cut an opening and small notch to reach around the stem.
Use the snap clip from another pool tool or Pool Pole Clip by thetazzbot.
Slip around the fruit and pull.
Set a bucket next to the tree and you can just drop the fruit into that and keep picking.

I used the thread specification drawing for PCO-1881-0 threads which appears to be what a lot of bottles in my area use. All the thread specs are available here: International Society of Beverage Technologists
