I have an after market air filter on my 2016 Harley Davidson 1200C. It uses a K&N E-3212 filter. I have two filters and rotate them at each service. These filters are washable. The last time I went to install the filter it seems it had shrunken and was quite difficult to get the filter to fit around the raised section of the mounting plate that fits within the ID of the filter.
I created this tool to maintain the filter's shape while drying and when stored. It also makes applying oil to the filter easier.
