Lanterns of Lanzhou is great fun but the box it comes in is larger than necessary, and lacks organization. This box replacement features separate slots for starting tile, other tiles, favor tokens, and the different types of cards for different numbers of players.
The inside of the lid has reminder text for how many tiles and cards to use with different numbers of players, so you don't have to bring the rulebook along (it won't fit this replacement box anyway).
Designed for easy extraction of the game pieces and for easy printing (i.e. my own skill level). The column filler is scaled for the number of favor tokens my copy of the game came with, but can be scaled to better match your own copy if necessary. You do need to print this extra piece, because otherwise you might have favor tokens fall out as the box is rotated.
Consider scaling down the lid if you like a more snug fit.
