My wife LOVES to spin yarn with her EE6. I decided to design her a fun new bobbin for it from scratch using fusion 360.
Requires supports, but I minimized as best I could by splitting the tensioner part off and adding guide connectors. Pictures are my finished product which has been tested and approved by my wife. Use your slicer of choice to do this.
No change in bearings. Uses same bearings as original bobbins (R6 variant, I use R6-ZZ)
Please note: Still requires 2 R6 Bearings (Either R6-2RS or R6-ZZ)

Made it a little shorter. I felt like it fit in the flyer a little tighter than I liked.
Added hole and slots in shaft for lead line knot to slip right in. No more tying directly to shaft!

Fixed thread clearances. Somehow my non-tension was way too loose
fixed bearing clearance to make it snug, but easier than press-fit/hammer in.
Opened up non-tension hole for shaft passthrough. Found a little too snug for some filaments that shrink slightly.

Added shaft mod to print without supports. Used a little glue on taper inside shaft and threaded insert to permanently bond (I use WELD-ON 16). Model cuts down on print time significantly and the need for supports on this piece making it print more uniform.
