I have several guitars and play them all the time, and at some point they all had one of those typical spring loaded pick holders with half a dozen picks in each. But one by one they either came unstuck or fell apart. Add to that the fact that I've never really liked sticking things to a guitar's body, and I started to thinking of alternate solutions.
Introducing my alternative, a pick holder that simply slide onto the guitar's head and holds on with a little friction. It can hold quite a few picks and it just as easily accessible as one of the more traditional one
Printer Settings and Materials
I simply mine with Black Inland PLA+ from Micro Center.
The attached G-Code is from Cura with mostly stock settings
- 20% Infill
- No supports needed (print the model on its side)
If its a bit tight or loose for your guitar's you might have to modify it slightly.
Note: On line 74909 of the gcode, Cura added the E-100 command for the extruder to pull back the filament. This line caused issues here in Printables during upload. You can uncomment this line by removing the leading semi colon if you prefer, but it shouldn't affect the print either way.
