I was thrilled to find the model that these are a derivative of- a large part of why I got a 3D printer initially was to print custom LEGO pieces that didn't come in colors I wanted, so being able to use it to print MILS plates to make my City/Modular setup work better cheaply was great.

These models are an expansion on that, adding in some additional ones that I found I wanted/needed and hope others will find useful. Probably the most useful for me was working out how to print out plates that would let me use the original baseplates without having to transfer the sets onto either the printed-stud plates or actual LEGO plates (like you're supposed to do with MILS plates). The models for standard baseplates will let you simply drop that standard baseplate model on top of them and go from there. I've found one some (usually non-LEGO) baseplates actually kind of ‘click’ into the hollow baseplate studs, but most simply rest over them with no friction. This does mean that you will need to either simple depend on gravity or connections to other plates to keep them down or use some thing double-stick tape to hold the baseplate to the MILS plate, but for me gravity worked well enough.

As of this posting, I've uploaded the files for 3 different classic full-sized plates- a standard fully-studded 32x32 baseplate, a classic 14-stud-wide road plate, and the baseplate for the classic fire station (6382) that uses a road baseplate that splits into 3 (part #6100px2). I've included but the file for the full baseplate as well as the quarter-baseplate files for them. You'll need to mirror the quarter plates to print out the necessary ones for the baseplates.

I also am uploading the files for full (32x32) baseplates both with and without the wiring channels, since printing a full plate instead of 4 quarter plates if you have a printer large enough to do so will save a bit of plastic with having less walls.

I also modified the plate for the road plates to fit the half-width road plates used for the crosswalk and in a few other sets so it can have its own plate.

Finally, there are files to print out compete replacements for the new (16-wide) road plates both with and without inlaid road stripes. These can be printed and used in place of a new road plate on a MILS plate. At the moment they do not have any stud connections, just the pins- I may down the line make some that have the stud connections on the top like a normal road plate, but for now these were all that I needed.

You should only use the inlaid ones (2 files- ‘Road Plate Stripes Centered’ and ‘Road Plate with stripe cutout Centered’) if you're familiar with 2-color inlaid printing or if you have a multicolor/extruder printer (in which case you'll need to merge them or do whatever you need to- I only have a single extruder printer so have to use the inlay technique). At least with the slicer I'm using (Superslic3r) I've found that I need to both flip the road plate itself so it prints upside down and offset the stripes by 1mm along the long axis of the stripes.

So far I have not found a filament that perfectly matches the new ('dark bluish gray') dark grey that the new road plates use, but the closest I've found is the Kaaber Grey PETG (https://www.amazon.com/Kaaber-Filament-Plastic-Printers-Filaments/dp/B0BYMBFZJG?pd_rd_w=xX3nl&content-id=amzn1.sym.c15e5526-d433-4ac0-a393-a3f3f7218fab&pf_rd_p=c15e5526-d433-4ac0-a393-a3f3f7218fab&pf_rd_r=JP1KZHFNR8NZG1TDSQ17&pd_rd_wg=7yPdm&pd_rd_r=43f11db0-cb79-44e2-ba16-0e444e59a0cf&pd_rd_i=B0BYMBFZJG&psc=1&ref_=pd_bap_d_grid_rp_0_1_ec_i). I like PETG best for these because especially for the studded ones it works out best- plus this was the closest grey I have found yet. If anyone has found a filament that better matches the new dark gray (or light bluish gray) please let me know and I'll update this.

Future work: I plan to work out the spacing (no pun intended) for some of the space baseplates to be able to make plates to use them, and if there are specific ones that people need and can send pictures of or link me to I can probably work them out as well. I also hope to figure out a way to make it easier to get the 2x4 tiles that link road plates together at the edges off- now when a road plate is assembled with both pins below and tiles above I have to use a knife or very thin piece of metal to pry the tile off the top.
