I loat the original barend of my Taito, so I made a replacement out of clear PETG. I fiddled around with the settings and came up with th following:
Bone dry filament (I let it dry overnight in a food dehydrator at 50C)
2 perimiters
Infill: 100% w. aligned rectalinear pattern
20mm/s max speed
0.15 mm height with a 0.6mm nozzle
It isn’t amazingly clear, but clear enough for my purposes. If anyone were to sand the barend smooth (with a lathe or something), please show me, I‘ very curious about the result.
I think a flat inside should be clearer than the concave one I designed, but I'm not sure. If you try it, let me know
