This remix prints up to 25 letters on the mk3 build plate, for less manual filament changes! I found it was very important to have a very clean build plate to avoid failed flaps.
Fixes from the original flaps: the ‘W’ is scaled better, and ‘5’ is complete.
You need to print the base letters A-Y and can then choose from the following options:
- No umlaute: “Z$�:.-?!”
- Umlaute: “ZÄÖÜ0123456789:.-?!”
- NEW! Coloured flaps: “Z0123456789:.-?!” + 3 colours
The flaps have been created using OpenSCAD making it easy to make changes, for example to try different fonts, letter order or glyphs. To generate your own variants see the OpenSCAD files at https://github.com/rtitmuss/splitflap/tree/main/OpenSCAD.
