Welcome to MVE-T, the conversion of Ender 3-Aquila printer to CoreXY.
This conversion take advantage of all frame parts of the original printers, and only you need buy 6 2020 extrusion with different sizes to complete the all printer conversion.
Firts of all is mention, i have modified several parts of Tiny-M printer for fit with all MGN12H linear rail and adapted to the extrusion have Ender/Aquila printers, modified Klicky Probe to perfect location and used Mjolnir extruder but there's also holes for Sailfin Extruder if you choose.
The MVE is made around Creality Spider hotend, this exact https://store.creality.com/products/spider-high-temperature-and-high-speed-hotend
If you have different hotend, you need mod the “Hotend Support” for adapt to your hotend, i provide the Step file for easy mods.
The MVE used Sensorless Homing for X/Y and Klicky Probe for Z axis and Mesh Calibrated, but if you do prefer normal endstop, you have holes for Y axis but need make holes for the X axis.
The list of Bom you need to conversion is:
- 3x MGN12H 300mm Linear Rail ( you need cut one for obtain 230mm size)
- 4x 2020 400mm extrusion ( you need cut 2 of them for obtain 380mm size for vertical back frame)
- 2x 2020 300mm extrusion for bed support ( if you have Aquila X2 printer, you need drill 2 holes in the alluminium original bed support plate)
- 2x 277mm Leadscrew ( you have one original and need other one and cut for obtain 277mm size)
- 8x SHF8 for block the Rod's
- 4x Linear rods 340mm x 8mm
- 4x LM8LUU (important LUU not only UU)
- 1x 5mm to 8mm coupler ( you have 1 on your original system)
- 1x LDO 36 Stepper motor or equivalent for the extruder
- 1x BMG Dual Gear or clone for Mjolnir extruder, but if you choose Sailfin, you need reverse BMG kit because Sailfin used the filament gear in the other direction.
- 2x GT2 20T pulleys for X/Y motors
- 24x F695 2RS bearings
- 1x 5 meter GT2 Belt
- 8x 6x3mm Magnets for Klicky Probe
And need many M3 and 2x M5 Heat Insert, M3 and M5 bolts, you can see in the Step.
This is all for now. Now i need configured the printer.cfg and Klicky macros and update when everything is correct!!!
