I needed hinges and hinge supports to hang ¾" pvc pipe gates that I had made for T-post/welded wire mesh fence enclosures.
The hinge support is for use with the 1.25 & 1.33 lb/ft studded T-posts. This hinge support takes ½" hinge pin- I used hex head bolts. The bottom of the lower support ledge is recessed for a ½" nut so that if desired, the upper and lower ledges can be connected through the hinge pin to share the load on the hinge. Without the nut, the lower ledge carries the full hinge load. The u-bolts are made from 5/16" rod and the plates are from 1/8" x ¾" aluminum bar stock.
The hinge has a through hole on the ¾" side so the gate can be pinned to the hinge- I used #10-24 machine screws and nuts. The hinges are 1-½" high and there is room to go to 2"+ if there is a need.

My gates weigh 10-12 pounds so I was not concerned with loading. If you are hanging heavier items, consider increasing infill and/or wall count. The support ledges have room to increase hinge pin to 5/8".
