Meet Thomas. So-named for its visual similarity to a certain 1920's lead blaster.
I went through a few (8) revisions to get this juuuuuuuust right in my hand. My hand isn't particularly large - a bit bigger than the average woman's hand, probably a bit smaller than the average man's hand. If yours is considerably larger or smaller than that, you might not like it as much.
This is intended for use on pump-action springers, but it'll do just fine on flywheelers or AEBs too. You'll need:
1x 50mm M5 bolt
1x M5 nut
1x 10mm or 12mm M3 bolt
1x M3 nut
If you're going to use it on a flywheeler, you can probably eschew the M5 bolt, but if you're going to use it for springers, that bolt is pretty important for structural integrity.
Everything is pre-oriented for printing, and shouldn't need any supports if your bridging and overhangs are at least decently-tuned. The longest bridge is 16.2mm (the bridge over the picatinny cutout of the grip body), so it's pretty short. The overhang is at 60 degrees (in the hole for the grip insert).
Slot the M3 nut into the slot cut into the picatinny section of the insert, and the M5 into the main cavity of the insert, then slide the grip body onto the blaster. Then, put the insert halves in place to lock the grip onto the rail. Then, screw the M3 bolt in to connect the insert halves. Then, screw the M5 bolt in from the bottom of the grip to reinforce.
