Design
This model is for securing a Focusrite Scarlet 8i6 underneath a desk or to a wall.
There are various alternative designs but I wanted one that stopped movement forwards and backwards and both sides connected across the bottom, so I designed this.
It also prints easily without supports!
Useful Information
The black feet on my 8i6 seem to be slightly different distances from the edges, so if other units are the same it will only go into the bracket optimally one way around.
Printing
The main bracket and two of the side brackets are needed to assemble the unit. Tolerances should be good enough to fit with standard settings and a 0.2mm layer height or better.
All parts are designed to be printable with no supports with the correct orientation. PLA worked for me.
Assembly & Mounting
Four M4 threaded inserts must be installed in the main bracket, and the side brackets attached with four M4x12 screws with washers.
There are 3 holes each side for screwing the unit to a desk, they are 5mm wide. I only used two each side.
