The Push-Lock Pins that you can buy from the store are made of Nylon, but I seem to be having success with PLA as it's what I have on hand. PETG may also be a good option.
I've been printing with .2 layer height, 100% infill, automated organic supports (this helps the pin keep it's shape while printing), and a brim for bed adhesion.
