I really liked the simple design of this spool roller (https://www.printables.com/model/348317-parabolic-filament-spool-roller) but the noise from the standard rollers drove me a little nuts. So I jumped into FreeCAD and modelled up a replacement with a smooth surface. As a bonus this has thinner walls so prints with less plastic.
I find it prints well with 0.2mm layer height or use the adjustable layer height if your slicer supports it. Does not need support and infill settings don't matter as it's mostly walls anyway.
The only downside with this version as being a perfect round shape you have nowhere to hide your Z seam. You may want to experiment with random vs back.
Fits standard 608 bearings and the side panels etc from the original model.
