This is the Rare weapon from the game The Cycle: Frontier. The Cycle: Frontier is a PvPvE first person shooter made by Yager Development. They had unfortunately announced that they will be shutting down the game as of September 27th of 2023. I couldn't let the games memory die so I began working on acquiring 3D files for all of the weapons, armor, and creatures so as to preserve the game in physical form. This is my bold tribute to a game that I truly loved and as they say at Yager, Fortuna Favors the Bold. More models from the game will be coming soon. Enjoy!
Gun Lore:
After the success of the Adaptive Phase Pistol, OSIRIS thought to develop a weapon platform of more interest to the military market. While this new powered-up weapon can handle significantly more energy that its smaller cousin, OSIRIS has yet to solve the problem of overheating in full-auto firing mode, or high risk of carrier shield leakage when in charged mode.
A rifle for the discerning Prospector, the Phasic Lancer features a highly accurate controlled 3-shot burst fire, effective against most threats a Prospector might encounter.
