Printed pen that utilizes Parker G2 refills.  Please reference this youtube video for print orientations and assembly instructions.

UPDATE 7/28/2023:  V2 coming soon hold off on printing this one.  I had a g2 insert break and leak ink.  I think this is due to the insert slamming into the stop I have in the pen back when the bolt is released.  I'm going to delete this stop since the insert will be retained by the bolt anyway.  Hopefully this will eliminate insert breakage.   If you have already printed this pen you should be able to drill out the insert stop with a 6mm drill bit.

UPDATE 8/1/2023:  Pen back has now been updated to 2.0.  Removed the insert stop which I believe broke my insert and created an ink leak.  There should be no more harsh shocks to the insert now.  Please let me know if you have issues.

UPDATE 8/14/2023: I had yet another insert break and leak ink. Going to make some adjustments to the bolt and I'm also going to try genuine Parker inserts.  I will update the files once I make adjustments.

UPDATE 8/18/2023:  I have come up with a couple new designs.  I made the slot for the bolt longer and straight.  I kept a version where the bolt sticks out on the end if you like that.  However,  I worry that the insert can still break in that configuration even with a longer travel distance.  For this reason I added the buffered pen and bolt version.  This version utilizes a 3.77x10 mm spring at the top of the pen to act as a buffer to protect the insert.  I believe this spring was originally an ar15 bolt release spring, but I am not sure.  It definitely cushions the bolt and I am hoping will be the end of broken inserts.

UPDATE 9/6/2023:  Well I think I have solved broken pen inserts with the buffer spring, but the new problem is broken threads.  The first time I dropped my pen it broke at the m9 threads along the layer lines.  So I have ordered m9 thread inserts from china and I will be trying again with metal threads.  I work a very active job so it has been the perfect environment for field testing.  I have also considered printing the threads separately in a stronger orientation and then cutting the threads with a die.

UPDATE 9/20/2023:  Made the threads separate.  Minor changes to the pen front.  Removed option for bufferless pen back.

Update 9/21/23:  An unpleasant person informed me I forgot to add the threads to the post. They have been added. I had to add them from my google drive so please, in a kind manner, let me know if they dont work for some reason. If they don't work I will not have access to the step files until I get discharged from the hospital. For those wanting written instructions it is not going to happen any time soon. If your attention span can't handle a 15 minute video 3d printing might not be the hobby for you.
