Not sure how standard the size of compressed towels are but this is configured to hold 10 towels sized at 20 mm X 8mm that I had on hand. The lid is just a friction fit but holds pretty well for the application.
Lid doubles as a water "bowl" which is the perfect amount of water to drop your compressed towel into.
