Unlike many test models - this one can be printed perfectly as it uses only perfectly printable features:
- 45° chamfers, which can be printed without supports.
- Fillets only on vertical edges.
- Bent surfaces not exceeding 45°
Print suggestions:
1) Print line equal to nozzle size. Thicker line will reduce quality of overhangs.
2) Print cooling fan required.
3) Outside perimeter is printed last, and at reduced speed (in my case - 40mm/s, everything else 135mm/s).
4) If your printer has cooling fan from 2 sides of nozzle - you can print normal model.
For one-sided cooling you might need to use simplified (ez) model, which does not have chamfer at the bottom. This would allow you to turn model 45° so that both X & Y are cooled during printing.
5) Even with dual-side cooing it might be beneficial to rotate model 45° for more uniform cooling of overhangs on all 4 sides.
