I was afraid of losing the original lens cap, so I made a 3D-printed alternative for the unusual 30.5 mm lens cap.
Printing
Print all the parts, no supports required. I used PLA.
Assembly
Slide the spring in the bottom part. Insert one side, compress the spring while inserting the other side.

Use some superglue to fix the cap to the bottom.
