Bristle brushes aren't just for gun weirdos, they can be for 3D printer weirdos too! Clean that nozzle, it's filthy.

I like a clean nozzle. You like a clean nozzle. So why the heck do we let our nozzles Get Gunked?

This particular flavor of nylon brush is my favorite. (Amazon affiliate link, direct to me Jeffy B's thirteen cents, thank you.) The blue nylon brushes tend to be a little stiffer and stand up a little better to scrubbing off a nozzle, weaseling free a silicone sock, that sort of thing. They do have a heat limit--I won't attack something above about 240C with it, but that's plenty for cleaning PLA and PETG gunk off a nozzle or a heat block.

And with that sales pitch for A Brush in mind: here's a thing that holds one. Holds other things, too, but it's best at holding brushes; there's a lip on the inside of the brush slot that'll do a little bit to knock off any crud from the brush when you push it in or out and you can give it some cathartic pumping action to free more resistant bits. I also have a Z-offset feeler gauge sitting in the other brush holder, because one brush is enough for this Ed right now. The holes in the front were designed to hold MK6 nozzles, but instead they hold my nozzle-cleaning needles.

It's flexible.

It's a holder.

Hold your stuff.
